Aperture Consulting Inc. (ACI) is an independent and owner-operated environmental consulting firm specializing in big-picture solutions to environmental challenges and a common sense approach to complex problems. ACI is based in Whitehorse, Yukon and operates across Northern and Western Canada. 

We are a team of two professional engineers, Kirsten Hogan (M.Sc. Eng, P.Eng) and Tim Hogan (P.Eng.), each with greater than 10 years of experience in the environmental field.  ACI offers dedicated, responsive project staff that are involved in all aspects of each project that we undertake. We are a dynamic company that has successfully completed projects ranging in size from small Phase I ESAs to management of multi-million dollar, long term remediation projects.

 

Kirsten Hogan, P.Eng, M.Sc.(Eng)

Kirsten has over 12 years of experience in Environmental Engineering with a focus on contaminated sites management, remediation, and climate change. She has gained a reputation for excellent communications skills, a common sense approach, and the ability to balance her client’s needs and goals with environmental responsibility and sustainable practices. Kirsten is a Professional Engineer registered in the Yukon and Alberta, and holds both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph.

 

Tim Hogan, P.Eng

Tim has greater than 12 years of experience in Environmental Engineering, with a focus on environmental site assessment, contaminated sites management and municipal environmental engineering. He is known to clients and colleagues as a hard working and responsible engineer with his client’s best interests in mind. Tim’s strengths include the ability to organize, manage and interpret large volumes of data, a passion for accuracy in detailed work, and the ability to provide simple solutions to complex problems. Tim is a Professional Engineer registered in Alberta and the Yukon, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph.
